Our platform is a one-stop solution to maximize remote monitoring of crop health throughout the whole growth season. It is equipped with a wide range of tools and features (vegetation indices, field activity log, scouting app, vegetation/productivity maps, etc.) that, applied to frequently updated satellite images of your fields, allow you to track the state of vegetation at every stage of crop development. The platform considers multiple factors affecting crops: weather forecasts, history of crop rotation, field productivity, elevation, soil moisture levels, accumulated precipitation etc. It also helps you keep track of all the field activities during pre-sowing, vegetation and harvesting periods.

To learn more about the platform’s functionality, feel free to create an account and give it a try with a free Gift field.

Our platform is suitable for almost any type of crop. Vegetation indices we use to remotely assess crop health are not tied to any specific agricultural crop type. To get the most precise reading, please add the crop type in the field parameters by selecting it from the list.

If you cannot find your crop type in the list, just email us at support@eosda.com and we will add it for you!

Once you subscribe to our services you can download all types of data, such as vegetation index readings, tiff. or shp. files with the geometry of your field and values of vegetation indices in each dot/pixel, historical weather and forecast, VRA maps, scouting reports, field leaderboards, activity log reports, and many more. You will see the classic "arrow down" download button next to each parameter available for downloading.

The platform provides access to a number of weather parameters:

  • historical data (accumulated and daily precipitation, daily temperatures, the sum of active temperatures), evapotranspiration, global radiation, humidity, wind speed, etc.
  • a 14-day weather forecast shows minimal and maximum temperatures, wind speed and direction, expected humidity, evapotranspiration, global radiation, and cloudiness percentage.

The resolution of the provided data is 90x90 meters, brought by Meteomatics.

Currently, our platform combines three different sources of satellite imagery:

  • 10 m per pixel, 5-day revisit from Sentinel-2
  • 3 m per pixel, daily revisit from PlanetScope module
  • 1.5 m resolution with 6-10 day revisit from EOS SAT-1

You can access satellite imagery from Sentinel-2 with a resolution of 10 meters per pixel obtained regularly (every 5-6 days at the equator and every 2-3 days in the middle latitudes) since its launch in the mid 2016.

Yes, you can download it from GooglePlay (for Android) or AppStore (for IOS). The functionality is slightly limited compared to the web version for reasons of convenience for users and more specific purposes of using the application (mainly for Scout tasking).

We will be glad to hear what you would like to add. Email us at support@eosda.com and share your experience.

EOSDA LandViewer

EOSDA LandViewer is a satellite imagery analytics and observation tool that offers low, medium and high-resolution satellite images from multiple providers. It's an all-in-one platform which allows on-the-fly searching, visualizing, and processing of data by applying more than 20 indices and band presets for extracting insights from satellite data to tackle real business tasks and challenges from various verticals.

Satellite images are not typically "real-time" in the sense of instantaneous or live feed. The images captured by satellites are usually processed and transmitted to Earth with a delay, ranging from minutes to hours, depending on the satellite and the processing pipeline.

LandViewer offers access to satellite imagery that is frequently updated, allowing users to observe changes and events as they occur on Earth's surface. You can see the repeat cycle for each satellite we have in LandViewer by going to Search Settings and selecting Passive sensors as a Source, for example. Then click on the information icon near the satellite you're interested in.

More detailed information about Satellites can be found here.

Unfortunately, LandViewer, as an Earth observation platform, does not offer capabilities to look underground, search for gold, or locate treasures. It primarily provides access to satellite imagery and remote sensing data captured from Earth's surface, focusing on visualizing and analyzing changes and patterns in various surface features.

To search for underground resources like gold or treasures, specialized techniques such as geological surveys, geophysical methods (like ground-penetrating radar or magnetometry), and other exploration technologies are typically employed. These methods involve physical measurements and analysis conducted on-site or through specialized equipment, not through satellite imagery platforms like LandViewer.

To find out more about the platform, feel free to check this page with the product description.

Our Pro plan provides you with full access to all the functionality in LandViewer with subscription, meaning:

  • unlimited access to satellite images from multiple providers at 10-100 m/pixel resolution
  • unlimited indices and band presets used on top of the images, including custom band combinations you can create DIY
  • change detection to observe dynamic processes such as urban development, natural disasters, and environmental changes and assess aftermath
  • time series analysis for identifying patterns and trends in the past, as well as forecasting future values
  • easy unlimited showcasing the outcomes as a time-lapse animation to share on social media, add to articles, researches, etc.
  • ability to download the image itself, with metadata, band combinations without limits or share it via WMS to save both time and device storage capacity
  • get email notifications for you AOI about new scenes or index changes

The high-resolution images are not included in any LandViewer subscription plan. The subscription provides you with the imagery of 10-100 m/pixel resolution.

If you need high-resolution images, you'll need to order each of them separately as we get data from commercial satellites and each image has its own price.

The high-resolution images available for ordering in the product are the archive images with a resolution between 0.3 and 2.0 m/px, which are provided as a GeoTIFF file according to your AOI (area of interest) to your personal account in 2-3 days after your order. The price depends on your AOI. To learn more, please refer to our Satellite Imagery Price List. Feel free to contact our support team for any assistance you need. Or you can make a search and place an order by yourself using a short video guide.

You can download selected images in one of the three supported formats: GeoTIFF, KMZ, JPEG.
